𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗟 𝗙𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘 𝗔𝗗𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

 

The ongoing war in Iran has resulted in Australia continuing to experience fuel shortages and disruption, impacting transport and logistics operations.

 

DOT Express is continuing in its effort to minimise the impact of the fuel surcharge.  However, as we have seen week on week, the Terminal Gate Price (TGP) has continued to increase since 5 March. We shall continue to be as transparent as possible and publish our fuel surcharge in the banner messaging on our freight management system, updated each weekend.

 

Hopefully the recent action by the Federal Government reducing their excise on prices at the bowser will enable us to reformulate our surcharge modelling to bring some relief in the coming weeks.

 

We are working with our Drivers, Linehauliers and Agents to ensure we maintain deliveries on time during this difficult period. We are communicating regularly with our key service suppliers so we can stay ahead of any potential likelihood of service failure to customers.

 

We are thankful that we have great staff with a commitment to delivering on time so that business, large and small, can keep operating with the limited diesel supply across the nation.
